U.S. Mint Highlights Maximum Gold and Silver Coins Sale Since January

The substantial demand for precious metals, gold and silver still exist even with the summer sales peak season getting over, according to the U.S. Mint.

The demand reportedly reflects a massive jump from the last year. In the context of the American Eagle gold coins, the number of coins sold in various denominations is said to have reached the highest level since January 2018. And, the total for the month of September tuned to 60,500, which was up 41% from August, as per the latest sales numbers from the U.S. Mint.

In contrast to the amount of American Eagle Gold ounces that were sold, there was an edge down by more than 4% to around 20,500.

And, on a quarterly basis, 77,000 ounces of American Eagle Gold coins in various denominations were sold.

In the year-to-date perspective, the results look quite decent, and the total amount of American Eagle gold ounces in various denominations sold is said to have been equal to around 197,500 so far in 2018.
