Sales Of US Silver, Gold Coins Drop to 10-Month Lows In May

As per preliminary reports from US Mint, sales of silver coins hit a 10-month low in May. It sold hardly 2.02 million ounces of American Eagle silver coins in May, the weakest total since July 2014 and down by almost 28% from 2.8 million ounces in April.

Global Silver Output to Decrease

After several years of record highs in silver mining, it looks as though silver output will start to decrease this year. For more than ten years, silver output has shown a steady increase, with each year a little higher than before. This year, however, there will likely be no new record.
